Hey guys! And gals!
I know with these winter months upon us, there's nothing better than to snuggle up with a warm mug of yumminess! And my go to drink is usually hot cocoa or a hot toddy, but these last couple of months I've been Chai obsessed!!! Don't judge me!

Especially when PSL season started, I couldn't get enough of adding some spice to my tea whether it be simply cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. But I could never get it to taste like the coffee shops. Probably because I would simply buy chai spiced tea and only add cream. But no longer! Once I made this recipe from Sweet 'N Low there's no way I can go back!
So if you know about Crowdtap, then you know that every once in a while you get a Sample Share CrowdKit, sponsored by a particular brand. This time it was Sweet 'N Low! Yay! So what came in it?
* 50 ct of Sweet 'N Low
* Samples to hand to my guests
* Very chic travel mug
* A carrying pouch for my sweetener packets
* Recipe cards for two very delicious drinks
* And a $5 gift card to Target! Yay! (By the way they're doing no limit free shipping right now online!)

So as I mentioned, this kit came with two drink recipes, one for 'Minty Mocha Coffee' and another for 'En-Lightened Vanilla Chai'. I think you know the one I picked. So let's set the scene.
The recipe card is in the background, but the recipe went as follows:
4 cups boiling water
4 regular tea bags
1/2 tsp each of cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice
a pinch of ground black pepper (trust me don't skip this step! But go light on your punch!)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups heated skim milk
I was making my tea in a slightly smaller carafe to serve to my guests, so I only used three tea bags and 10 packets of Sweet 'N Low. I also reduced the water and milk by a 1/2 cup. I added all my dry ingredients together including the tea bags, spices, pepper and extract while I heated the water and skim milk.

Mmm! Look at that pool of deliciousness at the bottom of that carafe!
The rest is simple as you may imagine, I added the water and milk and stirred. After about five I removed the tea bags, if you keep them in there too long the tea would get bitter.

And that's it! I really truly do hope you guys replicate this recipe! It was so smooth and creamy and full of flavor! And the best part? Only 40 calories per 8 Oz serving! Double yum! As always loves,
