I'm starting off this week with some fun! And what could be more fun than board games that leave you anything but bored (see what I did there?). I'm talking about three games I was able to experience with my family and friends from an amazing company called RoosterFin. They develop the kookiest and out of the box games that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face and laughter in your belly and through Tryazon I was selected to host a party sponsored by them. Again, you guys know I keep it real, so all opinions are 100% me.
Let's start with the things other than the games. I'll get more in depth with each in a bit. First up is the placard with all the characters on it. I of course placed that on the main table we played the games on. Next up is Rooster Fin's newsletter. It included information about their other games like Monkey Up and Turtle Flip, the inventor Mr. Joe RoosterFin and their social media contact information. Also the company just turned 5 years old, so congrats on that! Lastly, there were game instructions and coupons for myself and my partygoers. There will be information at the end of the post about how you can win a coupon for yourself.
First game up, Mohawkz!!!!
Bonjour messieurs et mesdames!!!!
One of my bucket list foods to make were croissants. Buttery, flaky, warm crescent pillows of yumminess.... Mmm...
But I've always been intimidated to make them! I never thought I could conquer the skills necessary to make a decent croissant. Like I would need to take a whole course at Le Courdon Bleu or something.
But no more!! Thanks to PureWow!! I stumbled across this post on Facebook and I decided to put away my fears and conquer the croissant!
So first of all, this weekend was unexpectedly warm which had me very delighted. Only one thing could make my foodie heart rejoice more and that's, well, food. :)
So my other delight this weekend was hosting this wonderful get together sponsored by Rhodes Breads and through Tryazon. And even though the title says party, it was more of a pot luck/brunch. Nevertheless, it was still fun!
Let's start with Rhodes and a little of their background. They are a amazing brand I'm ashamed to say I never even knew about prior to this. They offer over 25 different bread varieties from traditional dinner rolls to cinnamon rolls to loaves, baguettes, biscuits and pizza dough! And in my party pack, I was given three coupons for free Rhodes products and $1 off coupons for my guests to enjoy (prices range from about $3 to $5).
Dreamer, optimist, realist....a lot of "ist"s... No worries, I'm still trying to figure it out.
